TECHNICAL FEATURES
The body and the bonnets ( 1 and 2 ) are made in forged steel: it eliminates the risk of porosities that may occur
with castings: thus expensive X – RAY or UT examinations to verify the integrity of these components are not
required.
Further, the bonnets are “ LONG NECK “ type to:
- Facilitate the heat dispersion to keep the hand wheels at low temperature that is harmless for operators.
- Increase the number of threads for higher rigidity of the system.
- Eliminate the interferences between the hand wheels and insulating material, making easier also the thick
wrapping. |
