Douglas Chero was established in 1974 to meet the demand for high-quality forged valves in petroleum refining and production plants, offshore oil and gas fields, the power industry, as well as fertilizer, chemical, and desalination plants worldwide.
Production capacity soared from 3,000 pieces in 1974 to the current 40,000 pieces per month in our new factory, equipped with state-of-the-art machining facilities and advanced manufacturing technology.
The factory spans 25,000 sq.m. (278,000 sq.ft.), with 9,000 sq.m. (100,000 sq.ft.) of covered area.
Douglas Italia
Douglas Italia, a division of Douglas Chero S.p.A., is a fully certified manufacturer of steam traps, manifolds, strainers/filters, and sight flow indicators, supplying the petrochemical, chemical, power, nuclear, and onshore/offshore industries worldwide since its establishment in 1970.
Over the years, Douglas Italia has developed an extensive range of pipeline flow and steam management products for specialized applications, designed within our in-house engineering division.
Within our engineering department, a dedicated team focuses on research and development, allowing us to enhance our standard product range while also designing entirely new solutions to meet the most demanding requirements.
In addition to product design and development, we provide comprehensive technical documentation to support even the most specific project requirements, including calculations, design specifications, quality assurance, and certification.
