Thermostatic Steam Traps

The thermostatic steam trap is suitable for a wide range of applications, including both standard and special conditions such as superheated steam. It is resistant to frost and water hammer.

Thermostatic Steam Trap → A steam trap that operates based on steam temperature.
Its operating principle relies on the balance between the steam force, which tends to open the discharge valve, and the bimetallic element (temperature-sensitive), which keeps the discharge valve closed.
The discharge valve remains closed in the presence of steam and opens when subcooled condensate is detected.
